Members of Post 128 observe Veteran's Day in a ceremony at Standish Town Hall
November 11, 2007--Standish, ME
Several members of Post 128 and the general public observed Veteran's Day on November 11, 2007, by placing a wreath on the Post 128 Memorial, located at the Standish Town Hall, in honor of those who served, and especially those who made a supreme sacrifice so that others may live in peace. On a bright, chilly day, Chaplain Mike Lynch (pictured 1st on the right) began the ceremony by reading a special Veteran's Day Prayer, followed by a short commemorative speech from Post Commander Carl Henrikson (pictured 2nd from the left). Thanks to everyone who attended the event.
