We are very fortunate to have the Standish Kiwanis provide us with our current Post Home.  We meet at the Kiwanis Building on the Kiwanis Beach Road just off Ossippee Trail West (Route 25 - click on the map below for directions).

Membership Meeting Schedule

 

Our regular Post meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. See our Calendar for more information.

 

Our next regular Post meeting will be held on September 23, 2010, starting at 7:00 p.m., with a social hour (with light refreshments/snacks) starting beforehand at 6:00 p.m.  All current and prospective members of the Post are welcome and encouraged to attend.

COMING SOON:

 

Post 128 will be running BINGO games at The Roost in Buxton every Tuesday, starting September 21, 2010.  Doors will open at 4:00 p.m., with Bingo starting at 6:30 p.m.  There will be a $1,400 payout (WTA), and Pull Tabs will be available for purchase as well.  The Roost will also provide great food.  Please tell all of your friends, and we look forward to seeing you there!

 

The Standish Family Fun Day sponsored by the Standish Kiwanis was just that, fun!  Post 128 participated by offering a bean-bag-toss game and a bounce house for the kids to play and use.  Read about the event here.

 

Post 128 helped kick off and participated in the annual Standish Summer Spectacular on June 25 and 26, 2010. 

 

Post 128, along with Boy Scout Troop 875, held a ceremony for the Dignified Disposal of Unserviceable Flags on Flag Day, Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Post Home.  See a slideshow and read about the event here.

  

A Memorial Day service sponsored by Post 128 and the Standish Historical Society was held at the Standish Town Hall on May 31, 2010. 

 

Post 128 recently installed a new slate of Officers.  Read about this in the News section of our website.

 

Three Bonny Eagle High School students were recently chosen by Post 128 to attend the Dirigo Boys State program to be held in Waterville.  Click here to see who was selected.

 

The Armed Forces Day observance sponsored by the Post was a great success.  Thanks to everyone who donated their time and money to this worthwile event.
